About the Cornish Rex
The Cornish Rex is one of the most distinctive cat breeds in the world. Its slender build, arched back, and fine bone structure give it an elegant look, while its soft rippled coat makes it unforgettable to the touch. Beyond their appearance, Cornish Rex cats are brimming with personality. They are intelligent, adventurous, and quick to learn, often mastering games like fetch or happily joining in daily activities. Their boundless energy makes them playful well into adulthood, while their mischievous curiosity keeps life entertaining. What sets them apart most, however, is their affectionate nature. Cornish Rexes are true people-cats who thrive on attention and companionship. Whether curling up in your lap, burrowing into a blanket, or riding on your shoulder, they want nothing more than to be close to their humans. Charming, entertaining, and endlessly loving, the Cornish Rex is not just a cat, it’s a devoted friend and a joyful member of the family.
About us
Our journey with the Cornish Rex began when we babysat a 15 pound gentle giant named Caramello. His sweet and affectionate nature completely won us over, and only a month after we welcomed our very own Cornish Rex, Luna, into our family.
Through Luna we became close friends with the breeder who entrusted her to us. Over time that friendship and mentorship grew, eventually leading us to join their breeding program. What began with caring for one special cat has now grown into taking care of many wonderful kittens and new fuzzy family members.

What Sets Us Apart
Why Choose Us
Love and Socialization from Day One
Our kittens are not raised in cages but right in our home as part of our family. They grow up surrounded by everyday sounds, people, and lots of love. This early socialization helps them become confident, affectionate, and well-adjusted companions.
Standards You Can Trust
Every cat at Rexaboo Cattery is registered through CCA or CFA, and our breeding program includes cats from champion lines. This foundation ensures kittens are not only healthy and social but also meet the highest standards of the Cornish Rex breed.
Quality over Quantity
Rexaboo Cattery is a small, family run program where every cat is part of our home. Because we focus on only a few litters each year, we’re able to give each kitten individual care, socialization, and love. This way, your kitten leaves us healthy, happy, and ready to join your family.
Our Cats
Meet Our Beloved Family Members
Every cat at Rexaboo Cattery has a unique personality, from the playful clowns who love to explore to the quiet snugglers who enjoy curling up in your lap. We are proud to share their stories and photos, so families can see the cats who make our cattery so special.

Kermit
Kermit is our expert show off, always stealing the spotlight at cat shows. Despite his confidence on stage, he is a true sook at home, cautious and easily startled. We often call him our show horse, because he prances and gallops just like one. His mix of bravado and sweet timidity makes him endlessly entertaining.

Willow
Willow is our chatterbox, always ready to strike up a conversation. She loves cozy beds and hammocks, where she curls up for long naps. She's quite the cleverbox, recently she learned how to open doors just by jumping on the door handles. Life with her is never dull, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Filbert
Filbert is the wise old bachelor of the group. He's the little brother of Kermit, though you'd never guess it. Lazy at first glance, he surprises everyone with bursts of speed on the cat wheel and has a particular obsession with Romba brushes, his favorite toys. His quirky habits and charming nature make him unforgettable.

Cruella De Vil
Cruella de Vil, nicknamed La Loutre because she resembles an otter, is our show quality beauty. She is not a fan of the spotlight and prefers relaxing at home. She was raised by her grandmother and it shows in her affectionate nature. Like her grandmother, she loves to show her love by licking. Despite her dislike of shows, her elegance and affectionate nature shine through every day.

Pixie Dust
Pixie comes from a breeder in Mississauga and is full of playful energy. Always looking for something to do, she keeps the household lively and enjoys exploring new games and toys. She's always in her own little world and always up for a tussle with Bert, our largest cat. She even knows how to fetch, which adds extra fun to playtime and never fails to make us smile.
Lunall
Luna sadly passed away in November of 2025. She was the sweetest and most affectionate cat in the house. At nine years old she still had major zoomies and loved to dash around playfully. She had to always be spotlessly clean, washing herself right after being petted. She also enjoyed being snuggled in blankets or even tucked inside a hoodie. She was truly the perfect lap cat.
